“A Fever Dream”
Directed by Nono + Rodrigo
Visual Direction: Combining beauty with tension. Treating light as story and color as another integral part of the story, N+R show a deep appreciation of art house cinema. From retro-futuristic set design, to chic luxurious styling... the art direction calls back to the likes of filmmaker Gaspar Noé, meeting Dario Argento for a night of excess and mischief inside one of Las Vegas’ most eclectic & immersive hotels on the strip.
The Story: A young woman who, in her heart, is in search of something more. Upon taking a leap of faith, she is teleported into a fever-dream of a world – where metaphors and symbolism play out to reveal our character’s deepest desires.
“The feeling of letting go &
losing control in the best way.”
Whoosh! We're underwater. The light from above dances and refracts gorgeously on our protagonist, beaconing her upward.
As our adventurer emerges from the water, she hears a low, pulsing bass beat echoing through the chamber from some unknown source in the distance.
The Red Room:
Our set design and styling will ooze luxury—but in a way that feels modern and artistic. Abstract. But very real.
We’ll combine dynamic mood lighting with a surreal sense of depth. Using rack focus, foreground becomes background. The color shifts from a violet-blue, to a room full of dancing shadows saturated in hues of red and orange.
Rack focus.
Color changing lights.
Serving opulence.
